Structure of the SI ITPM of NASU:

  • administration (director, deputy director on the scientific work, deputy director on the common questions, scientific secretary);
  • 2 scientific departments (department of physics and technique of magnetic phenomena, department of the magnetic field control problems, that includes the laboratory of magnetic measurements);
  • technical department that includes the model workshop;
  • scientific and technical library;
  • service of the Chief Power Engineer;
  • staff and office-works department;
  • department of accounting and finance;
  • security service.


DEPARTAMENT of PHYSICS and TECHNOLOGY of MAGNETIC PHENOMENA


Head of the department is Dr. Sc., Corr. Member of NAS of Ukraine Rozov V.Yu.

The main scientific direction of the department.

  • the theory of magnetism of technical objects;
  • reducing the electromagnetic impact of electric power facilities on people and the environment.

The main scientific problems are:

  • mathematical modeling of technical objects as sources of magnetic field;
  • solution of inverse problems in magnetostatics and magnetodiagnostics of technical objects;
  • methods, means and techniques for protecting human and the environment from the technogenic electromagnetic impact of technical objects.

DEPARTAMENT of PROBLEMS of MAGNETIC FIELD OPERATION

Head of the department is Dr. Sc., professor Kuznetsov B.I.

The main scientific direction of the department

  • control of the magnetic field of technical objects;
  • development of methods and means for measuring the magnetic parameters of technical objects.

The main scientific problems are:

  • high-precision control systems for electromagnetic and electromechanical systems;
  • development of methods, tools and techniques for measuring the electromagnetic characteristics of technical facilities;
  • magnetism of space vehicles;
  • execution of measurements and testing of technical facilities by electromagnetic characteristics;
  • preservation and further development of the object of national heritage - the Magnetodynamical Complex of the Institute.
